This Privacy Policy describes how n14395 ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in relation to the following applications and services (collectively, the "Apps"):

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Apps are designed with privacy as a core principle.

Summary

Privacy is the default. Most of our apps, and the Relative Chess web-app, operate entirely on your device and do not transmit any information to us or to third parties. None of our apps contain analytics, advertising or tracking. A few handle data outside your device only as much as their function requires: SpeedyTorrent talks to the peers and trackers of the torrents you add, LocalMusicGen downloads the models you choose, Little Kanban can mirror your board to your own iCloud account, and Heirloom is a hosted web-app. Each is described below.

Apps that collect no data

The following apps run entirely on your device with no analytics, no accounts, and no calls home:

• ReTitle: Files are processed entirely on your Mac. File names, paths, and metadata never leave your device.
• SpeedyLauncher: Your configured applications, folders, shortcuts, and settings are stored locally.
• Metric Tracker: All your tracking data is stored locally on your iPhone. Data only leaves your device when you explicitly export it.
• ClipboardMenu: Clipboard history and snippets are stored locally on your Mac. Fully sandboxed; no network access.
• SpeedySpaces: Space names, icons and shortcuts are stored in a JSON file in your Library folder. The app reads the window server's list of Spaces and edits your macOS Mission Control keyboard shortcuts only when you ask it to. No network access.
• WindowShift: Reads window positions in order to move and resize windows, never window contents. Settings are stored locally. No network access.
• MoreCorners: Corner configuration, including any shell commands, scripts or URLs you enter, is stored in a local preferences file. No network access; the only outbound action is opening a URL you configured, in your own browser.
• Icon Setter: Reads only the folders and files you add, the image you choose, and the icons of the apps already installed on your Mac — never the contents of your files. It writes the icon you apply onto those items and nothing else. The one setting kept between launches is which icon source you last used. No permissions are requested and there is no network access.
• ReBar: Preferences and menu bar layout backups are stored in your home folder. The Full Mirror colour style reads the menu bar's pixels in memory only, to repaint them; they are never written to disk or transmitted. No network access.
• SpeedyFan: Reads fan and temperature sensors through the SMC. Only preferences are stored; temperature history lives in memory. Fan changes go through a small root helper installed with your permission. No network access.
• ChordFlow: Projects are stored locally as plain JSON. No accounts, no cloud sync, no telemetry.
• More Tweaks: Reads and writes local GSettings and dconf configuration. No network access.
• Philips Monitor Control: Talks to your monitor over DDC/CI. No network access; nothing leaves your machine.
• Relative Chess: Runs entirely in your browser. No accounts, no server-side game storage, no analytics.

SpeedyTorrent

SpeedyTorrent is a BitTorrent client, and BitTorrent is a public peer-to-peer protocol. When you add a torrent, the app necessarily communicates with the trackers named by that torrent, with other peers, with the distributed hash table (DHT), with peers on your local network, and with your router to map a port. Those parties learn your IP address and which torrents you are taking part in. This is inherent to the protocol, not something we add: SpeedyTorrent contacts no server of ours, has no accounts, and collects no analytics. Protocol encryption obscures peer traffic from casual inspection but does not hide your participation. Torrents marked private are kept out of the DHT, peer exchange and local discovery.

Torrent files, resume data and statistics are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/SpeedyTorrent/. Downloaded content goes wherever you choose.

LocalMusicGen

LocalMusicGen runs music models on your own Mac. On first launch it downloads a private Python runtime, and, as you choose them, model weights from Hugging Face and the other repositories where those models are published. These are ordinary HTTPS downloads from the publisher, governed by that publisher's privacy policy. A few gated models need a Hugging Face token that you supply; it is stored in the macOS Keychain and never written to disk. Searching for amplifier captures queries TONE3000 only if you add a TONE3000 key, which is also kept in the Keychain.

Once a model is downloaded, generation, separation, transcription and analysis run entirely on your Mac. Your audio, prompts, lyrics and library never leave the machine; the app and its engine talk only to each other over localhost. We operate no servers for LocalMusicGen and receive nothing from it. Your library, outputs and settings live in ~/Library/Application Support/LocalMusicGen/; models live in the Hugging Face cache or a folder you choose.

Little Kanban

Little Kanban stores your boards as a single JSON file on your device, with rolling backups beside it. It can mirror that board to iCloud so it appears on your other devices. This uses Apple's CloudKit private database under your own Apple Account, is same-person-multi-device only, never shares your data with anyone else, and can be turned off in Settings > Data. Preferences never leave the device. Due-date reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device, and Spotlight indexing is local too. We operate no servers for Little Kanban, and the app contains no analytics and makes no network requests other than iCloud sync.

Heirloom

Heirloom is a multi-tenant web-app, so by necessity some data is stored on servers we operate:

• Authentication: Heirloom uses passwordless magic-link sign-in. We receive and store the email address you sign up with so we can send your sign-in link.
• Family data: The people, items, photos, documents, valuations, and relationships you add are stored in our PostgreSQL database and object storage. Each family's data is tenant-isolated at both the database and application layer.
• Error tracking: We use Sentry to capture application errors so we can find and fix bugs. Sentry collects technical context about errors; we do not configure it to capture additional personal data.
• Email delivery: We use a transactional email service to deliver magic-link sign-in emails.

We do not sell or share your Heirloom data with advertisers or other third parties. You can request export or deletion of your Heirloom account and associated data at any time by emailing support@n14395.com.

Third-party services

Our native apps do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third parties involved in any of our products are:

• For Heirloom: our hosting provider (Vercel), database provider (Neon, for PostgreSQL), object storage (Vercel Blob), transactional email (Resend), and error tracking (Sentry).
• For Little Kanban (unless you turn sync off): Apple iCloud (CloudKit), under your own Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy.
• For LocalMusicGen: Hugging Face and the other publishers hosting the models you choose to download, and TONE3000 when you search for amp captures.
• For SpeedyTorrent: the trackers, peers, DHT nodes and web seeds named by the torrents you add. We choose none of them.
• For this website: Cloudflare, which serves it.

Data storage

For native apps and Relative Chess, any preferences or configuration data is stored locally using standard storage mechanisms provided by your operating system or browser. This data remains under your control and can be removed by deleting the app or clearing browser storage. For Heirloom, see the dedicated section above.

macOS permissions

Several of our Mac utilities ask for system permissions in order to do their job. None of them capture, record or transmit anything:

• Accessibility (SpeedySpaces, WindowShift, MoreCorners): to watch the mouse, post keystrokes, and read and move windows.
• Screen Recording (SpeedySpaces, WindowShift, MoreCorners): requested only for dragging windows or moving them between Spaces, because macOS gates one app driving another's windows behind this grant. No screen content is ever read. ReBar's Full Mirror style is the one exception: it reads the menu bar's pixels, in memory only, to repaint them.
• Automation (MoreCorners, ReBar): for the few actions implemented as AppleScript, such as Log Out or Toggle Dark Mode.
• An administrator password (SpeedyFan): once, to install a small helper that writes fan speeds, which requires root. It can be removed from the app's settings.

This website

n14395.com is a static site served through Cloudflare. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties: the fonts are served from the site itself. If you pick a light or dark theme with the switch in the top bar, that one choice is kept in your browser's local storage, where it never leaves your device. Cloudflare keeps the standard request logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) needed to operate the service, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy; we do not use them to identify visitors.

Children's privacy

Our native apps and Relative Chess do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Heirloom requires an email address to sign in and is not directed at children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has provided us with an email through Heirloom, please contact us and we will delete the account.

Distribution

Our apps are distributed through several channels, and the privacy practices of each channel are governed by that channel, not by us:

• Apple App Store (ReTitle, SpeedyLauncher, Metric Tracker, ClipboardMenu, ChordFlow): your use of the App Store is subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• GitHub Releases (SpeedySpaces, WindowShift, MoreCorners, ReBar, SpeedyFan, SpeedyTorrent, LocalMusicGen, Icon Setter, Little Kanban, More Tweaks, Philips Monitor Control): downloads are governed by GitHub's privacy practices.
• The open web (Relative Chess at relativechess.org, Heirloom): use of the websites is subject to standard request logging by the underlying hosting platform.

Your rights

For native apps and Relative Chess, we do not collect any personal data, so there is no personal information for you to access, correct, or delete from our systems.

For Little Kanban, a synced board lives in your own iCloud account. Turning sync off and deleting the app's data removes it from your devices, and Apple's iCloud settings let you delete the app's iCloud data.

For Heirloom, you can access and edit your data from within the app at any time. To request a full export or deletion, email support@n14395.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
